Collective Soul, with eight number one rock hits and world-wide sales exceeding seven million, the Atlanta based band has just released their fifth album, Blender. This new album, released October 10, 2000 is expected to be their greatest yet. With the hit 'Why Pt. 2' currently moving up the charts. Other songs, including 'Perfect Day' (featuring Elton John) are expected to follow.
From Stockbridge, Georgia to the stage, Collective Soul first releasing their debut album, Hints, Allegations, and things Left Unsaid, which went RIAA double-platinum. The album containted RIAA Gold-Certified 'Shine'. A year later, their second release was their self-titled album, which included the hit songs, The World I know, December, and Gel.
Their next album, Disciplined Breakdown, rose to the number one spot on the chart, with it included, Precious Declaration and Listen. Their next album, Dosage, followed with the hit songs, Heavy, No More No Less, Dandy Life, and Run.
Their newest album Blender is expected to be just as good, if not better. They are promoting their new album with this years tour.
